Research Notes
Photo Pipeline
- Photos sync from S24 via Syncthing over cellular to ~/Desktop/planet-media/island-phone-photos/
- GPS location tags enabled on S24 camera (turned on Apr 21)
- Photos before Apr 21 have no GPS — in the "Unsorted" accordion below
- aiprep-watch auto-resizes to 1500px on arrival
- Place matching: compare photo GPS against known coordinates, match within 300m
- Delete: hides via localStorage. Tell Claude "clean up deleted" to permanently remove from data.json
Sticky Notes Workflow
- Tell Claude which photo + what note to add (e.g. "the Apr 14 photo at 2pm — that's Toritake in Kanazawa")
- Claude updates data.json with the note and place info, redeploys
- Unsorted photos with location notes can be promoted to the main feed
